Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has been featured in eleven Broadway shows, including the return of Violet and also played lead characters in Broadway performances that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. The first time she appeared on television on Star Search at age 15 She has also appeared in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster, a solo artist, has performed all over the country and internationally with Michael Rafter. Her songs include "Wish", "An Evening with Sutton Foster - Live at Cafe Carlyle" (her follow up album), as well "Anevening With Sutton Foster - Live at Joe's Pub". Sutton received an honorary doctorate in the year 2011 from Ball State University, where she is also a faculty member and advisor for the Department of Theatre and Dance. From March to the present, she stars in TVLand's new series "Younger" created by Darren Star.
